Housing

Student dormitories (študentski domovi) are the bargain and heavily subsidised, though international-student allocation is limited; the private market in Ljubljana runs roughly EUR 300 to 500 a room, less in Maribor. Ljubljana's housing is tight in September, so secure something early.

A confirmed address (rental contract or owner's statement) supports the permit and is required for the three-day residence registration after issue.
