Bank Accounts
A Slovenian account opens with passport and the residence document; the banks run student accounts and euro membership (since 2007) removes friction. A local account is useful for the student-service work system and any dormitory payments.
The tax number (davčna številka) is easy to obtain and keys into work and services.
