University koleje (dormitories) run CZK 3,500 to 7,000 a month and anchor the budget; Prague's private rooms commonly run CZK 8,000 to 14,000, Brno and Olomouc meaningfully less. The kolej confirmation also satisfies the visa's accommodation-proof requirement neatly.
