Housing

Housing is often the hardest part of studying in Luxembourg. University-managed accommodation is limited, and the private market is expensive, so apply as soon as your institution opens its housing process and do not build the visa plan around an unconfirmed room.

Some students live across the border in France, Germany or Belgium. That can reduce rent, but it changes residence/commuting logistics and the international part of the journey is not automatically covered by Luxembourg's fare-free domestic transport scheme.
